Hindi sa hindi ako mahilig sa Korean Drama pero wala naman talaga akong time in general para manood ng kahit anong palabas. Kung papanoorin lang naman yung pag-uusapan, ang dami ko ng backlog ng mga Anime, Ecchi, Hentai, Movies, and TV Series be it Asian or Western. On top of mind, after yata ni Pein, hindi ko na namin natuloy ni Lyn Jona yung Naruto Shippuuden. Recently I started and finished Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans Season 1 pero never had opened its Season 2 yet. Kahit yung The Last Dance ni Michael Jordan, I am a few episodes behind. Ang totoo hindi talaga ako mahilig sa Hentai and I’d rather watch Ecchis kasi mas nakakatawa or mas may story. Lol.
I started really watching Netflix nung andun ako sa U.S. last year kasi dun talaga wala magawa. I am fond of documentaries about almost anything, but particular to science, history at crime and investigation. Other than that, Stand Up Comedies. At bibihira ang mga series that piques my interest. At ito na yun: The King: Eternal Monarch.

Recent Chismis
Well, everybody is entitled to their opinion and subjective naman talaga ang mga ganitong bagay. Unfortunately for her, it earned backlash noting her movies like Ang Tanging Ina Ninyo as the “standards” for her criticizing the Korean series. Another comedian though has a different take.

I see the criticism naman as valid and thus I’ll start off dun sa mga pangit about the series.
The Bad
1. Endorsements.
Personally, I was really after the story pero hindi ganoon ka sparky yung dalawa. Hindi ko alam pero it could be just us ni Jonalyn na nakakapansin. I do have additional comments though about this one on the ‘Good’ section.
3. On-going. Not really a criticism pero kailangan mo mag-antay ng weekends each time to watch it. Lol.

The Good
1. Appeal. Who wouldn’t like the appeal of Lee Min-ho and Kim Go-eun. She is a great singer as well and speaks very good English (English kasi yung kanta lol). Kaya sabi ni Jonalyn, panoorin ko din daw yung Cheese in the Trap at Goblin.
2. Acting. They act pretty well. Medyo overacting lang yung mga antagonist pero kasi ganun talaga ang acting ng mga Koreans so we just have to deal with it. I would say the two main characters played their part pretty well except that their characters didn’t really feel that they are in romantic relationship with each other until the recent few episodes meaning episode 14 and 15. Lol. The story somehow tells that Tae-eul is in love with Lee Gon but it doesn’t feel and look that way. Best acting for me is Jo Yeong and Eun Seup, which was played by the same person, Woo Do-hwan.
3. Story. My interest on this series was really because of my fondness of stories that needs you to think. I love movies that twist your mind and asks you to think to understand it. Based on Ms. Ai-Ai’s comment, it is I guess one of the turn offs people had with the series. Alam ko may mga plot holes but that is understandable given you are dealing with a time travel story.
4. Twists. At few times, I paused the TV for us to discuss the possible twist the series has.
Parang for me, they’re giving off moer tropa vibe than mag-jowa vibe. Hahaha. Tinigil ko muna panonood n’yan kasi ayoko mabitin. Saka na ulit kapag natapos na. HAHA
Same feels!!!! ♥️
